• At the beach
Not only one, but there are many reasons to avoid wearing any precious jewellery while spending and enjoying time at beach. It is obvious that there are no chances to get your ring back, if you lose that sucker in the sand or water. It’s gone for life. Other reason is that the sand can struck between the ring settings or under the diamond of your ring. Thirdly, you have to take your ring off even while applying sunscreen because the ingredients used in sunscreen will cloud the stone of your ring right up.
• While hitting the gym
Though cardio activities won’t harm your rings but the weight lifting can take a toll. The pressure of the weight bars that’s applied to your ring band might bend it. Especially the smaller stones can fall immediately out of their setting. Therefore, it is always beneficial for a gymnastic or a sportsperson to take off the ring or other precious jewellery pieces.
• Taking a shower
Similar to sunscreen, materials like soap, lotion and even hair or beauty products can cause a cloudy build up on your stone and make it worse. The body washes shampoos and serums also prove to be the harsher materials for the precious jewellery stone.
